Ice Chain

The water drains from the roof
down a chain like the one above.
Then it freezes solid
making an intricate ice sculpture.

Torre Agbar

You may be wondering if you're supposed to be looking at
the graffiti? the train tracks? or the giant dildo/penis in the background???
That immense phallic symbol is Barcelona's famous
Torre Agbar.
Besides the shape, there are a few other features of note:
The 38-story tower was unveiled in 2005 and
has 4500 LED lights under the glass panes
that cover the outside of the building.
These lights can produce 16 million colors and
can transition quickly between them to create an impressive display.
The outside of the tower also features temperature sensors
which control the opening and closing of the window blinds of the façade of the building,
reducing the energy consumption for air conditioning.

Bras Out

I love seeing the laundry drying outside the apartments
while I'm walking through European cities.
I survived 3 years there without a dryer,
but I never did hang my bras outside to dry!

Roberts House

There's an old house up Solstice Canyon,
by architect Paul R Williams,
that once belonged to a Mister Fred Roberts.
This house was hidden away in the middle of a gorgeous canyon,
decked out with waterfalls, ponds, and fireplaces everywhere!
The house ended up burning down,
but the remnants remain,
now overgrown and creepily hiding in the trees and shrubs.
