Tolverne

Tolverne, also known as Smugglers Cottage,
is a small 500 year old cottage in south Cornwall, UK,
situated on the Roseland on the River Fal.
In World War 2 it was used as an embarkation point
for D-Day landings in Normandy.

Built to Last

The house on the left is my great uncle's historic home.
It was built in the early 1500s!

The Shepherd

I've been to the UK many times visiting family,
and I'd seen what seemed like billions of sheep,
but I regretted that I'd never seen an accompanying shepherd,
which seemed to me a wonderful thing of the past,
until this day when I passed my shepherd on a lonely road in the Welsh countryside.
